How to Backup and restore a Sigma Estimate

Sigma can be set to auto save your files by making sure these boxes are checked . To open the Settings window, click on File, then Settings. Once the window opens, click on Files.

Once these are checked, you can locate the backup files in the temp folder, within the SigmaRevovery folder. The easiest way to get to the temp folder is by typing %temp% in the file manger address line.

Double click on SigmaRecovery:

Locate the file (estimate) you want to recover and drag and drop it into the Sigma window, and the estimate will open. The first thing to do then is to save it to your Projects folder. If there is already an estimate in there with the same name, simply add a v1 or the date (or something to help you distinguish the recovered estimate) to the end of the name.
