Exporting and Importing an Insight View
This guide will teach you how to export import an Insight View. This can be helpful if you want to share a particular insight view with a colleague, or if you need to send an insight view to support for help refining it.

| Exporting an Insight View | |
1. | Start Sigma and open the estimate containing the Insight View you wish to export. |

2. | Click on the Insight tab in the estimate window. | |
3. | Click on the Insight Designer button in the tool bar. | |
4. | Click once (highlight) the name of the View you want to export and click on Export. | |
5. | In the following window, select a location to save the file, and click on Save. | |
6. | Then close the Insight Designer window. |

| Importing an Insight View |

1. | Start Sigma and open the estimate that you want to add the Insight to. |

2. | Click on the Insight tab in the estimate window. |

3. | Click on the Insight Designer button in the tool bar. | |
4. | Click on Import, and navigate to the Insight View .xml file you want to import. | |
5. | Click on the file name and then click on Open. | |
6. | The Insight View has been added to the Insight Designer. | |
7. | Close the Insight Designer window and you’ll see that the Insight View you imported has been added as a tab in the Insight window of the estimate page. |
